Ciara Community
Services Is a collection of services for chronically mentally ill adults. Ciara
House is a 24-hour residential center which provides supervision and teaching of daily
living skills to this population. It is frequently the first home when clients leave the
hospital or a refuge when clients are at risk of returning to the hospital. Ciara
Hospital Diversionary Program provides transitional housing. Ciara Independent
Living Program provides furnished apartments for those clients who are capable of
independent living. The Ciara Supported Living Program provides supportive services
for chronically mentally ill adults living in Jefferson Parish.
