USA Dance Partners with Catholic Charities Hope Haven Center to present “A Dance For Hope”
(Metairie, LA) – USA Dance, a ballroom dancing organization, will host a benefit dance on Sunday, October 14 to support the children of Catholic Charities Hope Haven Center. USA Dance has been providing ballroom dance lessons to the abused, neglected and troubled children of Hope Haven Center for several months, and hopes to raise funds to be able to continue to underwrite this service.
The benefit dance will be from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm and will feature music by The Encore Orchestra, a silent auction, a raffle, a buffet and Pro-Am exhibitions. Tickets are $25 and the attire is semi-formal.
About USA Dance: The LA Gumbo Chapter of USA Dance’s mission is to improve the quality of ballroom dancing and increase awareness of ballroom dancing as an enjoyable and worthwhile pastime. The LA Gumbo Chapter includes dancers from Baton Rouge, Houma, Mandeville, Metairie and New Orleans. The LA Gumbo Chapter holds monthly dances in Houma and Metairie, and encourages participation at dances of other social dance clubs.
